First-of-its Kind Innovation
Multifamily dwellings are an integral component of the urban landscape that confer many lifestyle advantages, but historically these homes have also come with certain drawbacks overcome by our unique “hallwayless” design. This new type of condominium has no common corridors. To our knowledge, this is a first-of-its-kind design.
Privacy Through this design, we have in effect created “proprietary condominiums” with the advantages offered by townhomes, in that each homeowner has a semi-private doorstep. Only two or three units are serviced by each elevator landing, which eliminates the public feel of hallways and creates a very personal environment.
Quiet, Please
One of the main sources of noise in typical condominium complexes are the hallways. With the combination of many people coming and going and the sound transference issues created by long open shafts, the reverberation of noise is a constant issue. Our design does away with long hallways and provides limited access to the floors, resulting in a much more quiet atmosphere.
A Breath of Fresh Air
Further, without long hallways cutting the length of the building, each unit is afforded cross ventilation, which allows for fresh air moving through the units. This diminishes stale air and helps with energy efficiency by reducing reliance on air conditioning.
A Room with a View Beautiful views for the eye to rest upon are one of the joys of life. Our hallwayless design results in many windows that either overlook the picturesque garden courtyard or provide views of the surrounding cityscape. Imagine having lovely scenery awaiting you each evening when you come home, a charming vista that will lift your spirits after a challenging workday.
