Green Garden Roof
Green garden rooftops are a new development in eco-friendly architecture. They are designed to create additional green spaces and to reduce the heat absorption of the urban landscape. While Le Parisien is not the first to incorporate this feature in its plans, by bringing it down to the second story, we have an innovative application that uses this technology to its full advantage. Renewable Resources
We have arranged for components of the kitchen cabinetry to be constructed out “agri-board,” which is made from agricultural cellulose rather than wood. Using this renewable resource, we contribute to preserving our forests.
Water Conservation
We will install dual-flush toilets in all of the units. These toilets are made in Australia and are designed to minimize water usage.
Eco-Friendly Lifestyle
Another facet of our concept is to create a “walk-to-shop” lifestyle that the proximity of this development to other amenities allows. Its proximity to the Wedge Coop was a conscious choice so that owners of the flats would have access to organic products within walking distance of their homes.
